I fish creeks off of the tidal Pataspco (Stoney Creek, Bear Creek, Nabbs Creek) in Maryland. Bought these because they are a lot cheaper than the "classic" brand. Was a little skeptical at first but have been killing it last 2 weeks with these: pickerel, whiter perch, croaker, spots and huge catfish (5-8 lbs - no problems). I add a small bullet weight about 6 inches up the line so I can cast further. Then let them sink close to bottom and retrieve- when fish hit these they really hit them, no need to even set the hook, just reel em in.
