Yoda OK : Good for starter lures

I gave these to my son for Christmas, along with some other fishing gear to get him started. These seem like decent lures for a beginner. Not too expensive so if they get tangled and lost, it's not a huge deal. We haven't gotten to try them yet as I'm not into fishing in the freezing cold. The colors on them are nice, but again, I don't know yet how well that will hold up after use. Overall, seem good for someone to get them started.

As they say lures are to fishermen as shoes are to women. These are definitely nice looking lures. They are about 2 inches in size. They have an interesting front that acts like a plane when dragging them in the water. It looks to keep the lure level and with the weight of the hooks upright. Now not being able to see that personally without attaching a GoPro to it in the water. I’ll have to assume that’s the purpose. I think I did fairly well with these, but the fishing day was an overall bust for our group. So I don’t want to say it doesn’t work. These are sturdy and won’t break easy, so unless you loose them they should last a long time.
