Answer: A liquid will tend to move toward the opening of the bag as the vacuum is drawn and will prevent the seal. Freeze it first. If something is moist, place a paper towel between it and the mouth of the bag. I put raw bacon in an unsealed sandwich bag before sealing in the sealer bag
Answer: Unfortunately, if you were to put liquid in a bag to seal it, the machine would suck in the liquid, destroying the motor. I’ll recommend this: pour your liquid into a vacuum sealer bag, stand it upright in the freezer in the open bag until frozen, then pull it out and complete the vacuum seal.

I am so happy with this vacuum seal!! Easiest assemble ever, all you have to do is plug it in, load plastic bags into the little machine as you go, and press the vacuum and seal button and the machine really will do all the rest for you. It's really simple and easy to use. I use it to preserve my leftover meats and veggies that seem to last almost double the length they normally do. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great affordable vacuum sealer. This thing super sleek and very durable. I was shocked to see that this vacuum sealer arrived just in the box. There were no extra packaging materials.The box wasn’t even taped together. The product was visible inside. I tested one of the side latches and it appeared to be made from a very brittle plastic and I was concerned that it would break very easily. I’m giving this a neutral review because I plan on returning it. I’m very concerned that this vacuum sealer may have been damaged in shipping. It also should be noted that there isn’t even a brand name on the box. It just says vacuum sealer - Home automatic packing machine.

This machine is VERY finicky! If you don’t position the bag in the exact position it will just keep running and not do anything. Sometimes it will do the vacuum part but then not seal as well. Definitely not consistent! And if you add a marinade forget about it it won’t even vacuum at all and makes a big mess. I figured out so far only the 8x10 size works for the most part for a 1 lb piece of meat and you have to leave a lot of room in the bag for it to even work so it ends up taking up a lot of space in the freezer

I needed an accessory port and the photo of the item showed one, but my model had none. Easy to use once you interpret the manual. One or two practice runs into it, it becomes easy-peasy. I am trying to figure out why some of these units are 5x the price but do the same thing.
