Here in chicago nothing is hitting topwater right now still too cold,but took them out along side with my other actual river2sea whopper ploppers!!!! Hands down everything is the same (action wise) 2 difference I notice was 1.luyayuer brand floats a little more straight up and the river2sea plopper a little more of a slant...2.the luyayuer plopper has a louder plopping sound!!! Other than that they both are excellent!!!!! Great buy great product!!!

- A friend caught several Susquehanna modest-sized Smallmouth Bass despite very low water level due to drought.
- Hooks are very sharp.
CONS: Haven't had a chance to try them in Pike, Walley, Muskie, or prime Smallmouth water.

They look and feel like the real whopper plopper from River2Sea but when you cast and the bait hits the water, you have to work to get the bait on top of the water. The baits float but they tend to want to go under water when you start reeling so you have to raise the tip of your rod high and reel fast to get the bait on top of the water

these things swim just like the whopper ploppers in the store for $17 a piece. they’re comparable to the 110 size. the tail may be a little heavier in that when it lands in the water the tail sinks and the head floats, but if you have the lure moving when it hits the water it swims great.

Sometimes it takes it a couple feet to surface enough for the propeller to function properly. I’d give these an 8 out of 10 compared to the actual plopper and at a fraction of the price! I’ll probably buy another set just so I don’t worry about losing them to a snag or something so much. I’m very happy with the purchase!

These are close to the real deal. Colors are slightly off, particularly the bone one which is my go-to color, but it is close. The action and quality is solid, definitely a great value for the money, I would recommend to the average joe.
