What color works the best?

Answer: That is determined by water clarity. If your water is stained, dirty, muddy, and low visibility, I would suggest using darker colors. If your water is clear with high visibility, I would say use the most natural presentation you can. These baits were originally made as a carolina rig bait, but can bring plenty of success in rigging it many different ways. Have fun

Answer: Gary it depends on water clarity and what you are trying to imitate. I like the the green pumpkin and smoke they best imitate the salamanders, hell benders and tadpoles in my area deadly action.

They work! I’ve used them as a topwater in open water, across pads, Texas rigged, on a jig head, and I have been successful every way I’ve tried. Great multipurpose soft plastics!!! Will be a standard in my arsenal.

Avid Angler : Phenomenal action without any weight

I check all my fishing lures action in my pool before I use them to fish. This lure has an action that is so real that fish just can’t pass it up. It’s one of the most lifelike baits I have ever used, and also makes an excellent trailer. However, the reason why I gave it four stars is because I believe the purchaser should know that if he applies to much bullet weight to the front of this lure it restricts some the buoyancy characteristics that makes this bait so lifelike. If I put more than a 1/4 ounce bullet weight in front of this lure it changes the action considerably. In my opinion using the right cadence this is probably one of the best top water or wake baits around, but the angler is going to be limited on the weight he uses which may reduce his casting distance ability.

Topwater, Texas rigged. You name it this lure has it all. I have a whole tackle box dedicated to just these lures. Buzz bait, chatter bait, weightless. Best bass bait designed in years.

Hero Addict : Not sure if it’s worth the price.

I’ve caught fish on these but they seem to work just as well as rubber worms, crawfish, lizards. I’ve tried this a lot as a topwater and have only caught one bass that way. On the bottoms, it definitely works. Same as other plastics.
