Answer: That is determined by water clarity. If your water is stained, dirty, muddy, and low visibility, I would suggest using darker colors. If your water is clear with high visibility, I would say use the most natural presentation you can. These baits were originally made as a carolina rig bait, but can bring plenty of success in rigging it many different ways. Have fun

Answer: Gary it depends on water clarity and what you are trying to imitate. I like the the green pumpkin and smoke they best imitate the salamanders, hell benders and tadpoles in my area deadly action.

I am an avid bass fisherman and have been looking for a "tadpole" type profile for awhile with nothing really fitting what I wanted, until i saw the Eeliminator! The shape and action of this soft plastic is the best I have seen in a very long time. I fish it both as top-water and slow rolling on the bottom. The ribbon like action of the tail as it falls through the water makes bass want to SMASH it. Slow lift and drag across bottom and it is deadly to the lunkers. Take off your weight and you can fish the upper water column as a wake bait. I Texposed the hook for top water, the shape lends itself to being perfectly straight with an EWG 4owt offset hook. Eeliminator just glides across the water like a wake bait. Honestly if I am fishing bottom, my go to. If I am fishing top-water...my go to. You will not be disappointed.

This worked when nothing else did. And once you start why stop cause they can’t resist it! Used it weedless in a Carolina rig. Had better luck without a drop shot. Most strikes were in the top couple inches of the water! Highly recommend!

I got a six-pack of these from a mystery tackle box. And I gotta say, this is one of the most versatile soft plastics I've ever run across. I've caught bass (faster than with a senko) rigging the following ways:
1. 4/0 hook, 4.5" size, basically reeling in as a topwater.
2. T-rigged on a 4/0 or 3/0 offset hook with a bullet sinker of many various sizes.
2.a - will perform just slowly popping it off the bottom.
2.b - will draw bites just swimming it in with a t-rig.
2.c will draw baits on the drop on a t-rig.
3. Trailer for spinner baits.
4. Trailer for jigs.

Frankly, I'm gonna start putting these things on about every damn hook I can find. I've been hot on them all August in north carolina, and we have a lot of frogs / tadpoles around, so maybe thats the magic. But the action of these in the water is unparelled, almost no matter how you fish it. The bass just can't resist that tail.

If there is a downside, its that its such an attractive lure that the small bass will CRUSH the 3.5. If you try to fish the 3.5's you'll be unhooking a bunch of 6 inchers. But the 4.5 will draw big bass bites like nothing else.

VERY pleased with this bait. I got a gang of them for like $4.00 / pack from the manufacturer, but the amazon price is well worth it as well.
