The water is frozen over here and I won't be able to fish with these for a while, but just to look at them, they are amazingly beautiful and since they were super reasonably priced, I am very happy with this purchase. All five of them came in a fitted case that was about the size of a pack of cigarettes just to give you an idea of how small they are.

I have been using these crank baits soley since I received them about 2 weeks ago. I have been catching bass left and right with them. They are what I would say are a medium depth diver but they float back up to the top of the water when you stop retrieving it which I like because that's when I get most of my strikes. Decent swim action with a medium retrieve. I only had problems with one where i broke the plastic bill/lip but I believe that was because I went to set the hook and I believe it was a log. Other than that, they are holding up well with only a little scuff here and there on the exterior. Largest bass caught was 5lbs.1 ounce and the hooks held up fine. Perfect size and weight and the bearing inside making noise I think adds to the attraction.

This comes with 5 Magreel Crankbaits and the Tackle Box. They look like they are made well. Tackle box looks cheap, but really just to store them, so no big deal. He likes collecting lures and fishing a lot, so we know he will enjoy them.

Nice finish and swim action. However slow sinking doesn't even describe how long these take to submerge. Might as well call them top water baits

Very disappointed. These are flat sided with a photo printed on the side. There is a slight indentation at the gill and a bump over the eye. Does not put out the vibration you would want. Even the pack of ten offer for $11.65 is much better. I bought both and don’t think I will have much occasion to use these five. Hate to use my rat’l traps and claking raps in the Columbia for smallmouth because of the current and rocks. Did catch one with a lure from the other set on the first cast, so maybe my rat’l traps are safe.
