How far and fast would you run this?

Answer: I run mine in the corner long position - it has not been a big producer for yellow fin but the long gone I use (bullet) has been killing it so the daisy train may be bring them up. One down side it that the wahoo nail the thing and I have had to re rig it with 300lb fluorocarbon to keep from loosing it. I pull it out of the water when wahoo are around, as I do my other tuna lures. We have not had many Mahi around lately so no info on how it works for them. I run 8-9 knts and fish in pohnpei Micronesia so we get some large yellow fin’s 80lb ++.

Answer: I’ve had pretty good luck running this on the long lines about 100yds from the boat. I’ve also had hits on it on the shorter lines as close as 15yds, but not as many hits as when it’s out far so I tend to put it out there a ways. I try to maintain around 9mph but, with the waves, wind chop, and swells, normally end up targeting a range of 7-10mph.

Answer: 50 to 75 yards back at 12-14 knots
