What size split rings for these ?

Answer: I use 3mm split rings with either a # 12 or #14 treble hook (hard to find)

Answer: These can be painted just like any other blank. I use acrylic airbrush paint and coat with epoxy.

Great lil' bait to paint. I have found that a # 10 treble hook really impeeds the lures action. I always use a #12 treble for better wiggle. Never use anything over 4lb test and tie directly to the bait with open loop knot for best action.
