David Lisenby : Not very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship for the price.

I thought I would save myself some time this season and order some various size lead jig heads instead of digging out my molds and lead pot and making them myself. In this ad, the photos of the jig heads looked as if the maker took the time to remove the spurs and defects around the jig head after pouring them same as I do. Well I was very disappointed to receive three bags (1/32-1/16-1/8 oz) of roughly poured heads that I could have made myself for a lot cheaper and would have taken me 20-30 minutes to do after the lead was hot. What happened to lure makers taking pride in there work and taking the time to make a good looking product instead of just turning a quick buck. Also the quality of the lead used was poor and brittle. Possible wheel weight lead was used or added. I will not purchase these heads again. Had to spend a lot of time cleaning them up removing spurs and defects to make them fishable. Some were so bad I just removed the brittle lead and kept the hook to repour later myself.

Consistent molded with minimal flash. I use these for tying crappie jigs. They worked out well and were well molded. Saved me time from having to clean up the seams. Hooks are good and sharp also.
