From the pictures, you think it’s going to be very bright, but it is not. Once it goes in the water (only about 1’ over the top of the light), it only penetrates to make maybe a 5’ circle of light.
Seems to function well enough, with a long cord, but it’s just not nearly bright enough. It’s useless and way over priced.

I've had mine for over a year and love it. It was much brighter than I thought it would be. I use it for shrimping and lobstering at night in the Florida Keys and as you can see from the picture I posted even at dusk it lights up the surrounding water. Also, I had a problem with the wiring and the company was great to deal with and extremely helpful in fixing. I highly recommend this product.
