ABOUT US AT REAL FISH BAIT

During a bass tournament in the spring of 2008, I tied on my brand-new swimbait, cast it, lines snaps, & watched my expensive swimbait fly across the lake. That feeling of losing that lure was very heartbreaking. Then it happened again the very next cast! I lost that one too. I was very frustrated & thought to myself: 'This is getting expensive losing these pricey baits!' If only these baits are more affordable, then losing them won't be such a big deal. Then it hit me! I can design a better lure at a lower cost & pass those savings to other anglers too.

In August 2008, I began the journey & started Real Fish Bait. I've always dabbled with designing baits, but didn't know how to get it into production. It took me a year of researching to learn how to go from a drawing on paper to an actual prototype on hand. In late 2009, I received my first prototype & grew the product line since.

Fast-forward 13 years later, we now have over 200 style & color pattern combinations to choose from.

Looks absolutely exquisite. Swims like a dog turd on a string. I would advise one to only buy for a decorative piece. As a lure it is useless

Have not caught anything yet but sounds and looks good . I trow a plastic worm in same spot catch a bass. This lure has not proven it self yet but time will tell. Makes a lot of noise in water

Excellent lure, made very well. It has a very realistic look and the Swimming action is fantastic. A few days ago I had been catching smaller largemouth (1.5 - 2 pounds) one after another. I decided to toss this lure in and after several casts hooked up a solid 5 pounder. I was very pleased this lure held up after the bass hit it like a freight train.

Well I definitely have to give a mixed review.. The appearance of this thing is pretty good. Paint job is alright, not too fancy but I like how it isn't too glossy either. I tore the little side fins out before I even fished it. One can already tell those will be in the way and just snag moss and weeds. Once it was in the water it was a fish catching machine! First fish on it was a 4 pounder. Immediately followed by a couple 3s. Couple hours later it got crushed by a 6 pounder which rendered the hooks nearly useless once I got her in the yak because they were bent so bad. Then next cast the thing decided it was time to sink (I got the floating model).. I still got bit a couple more times but it definitely killed the action those fish were loving so much. Also one of the top fins started to loosen. So all in all this bait will catch tanks with some customization. Stronger hooks, get the side fins out, reinforce the other fins, and shake the water out every once in a while. Idk if it was worth the $20.. but those fins and the floating action are definitely unique and fish love it!
