McFly flies are designed by Duncan McKenzie, a professional fly fisherman, master fly-tyer, and long-time representative of the Intl. Game Fish Association (retired). Among Mr. McKenzie's fly fishing accomplishments:

- First person worldwide to tag/release a Broadbill Swordfish on fly per IGFA regulations.
- First person in Africa to tag/release a Striped Marlin on fly per IGFA regulations.

PRODUCT FEATURES

- Patterns available to target any predator species in the world.
- Uniquely stiff-rigged using coated 30lb wire - McFly flies run true when trolled.
- Larger 4/0 SS O'Shaughnessy front hook acts as a keel, while a 1/0 needle point SS octopus stinger hook improves hook-ups.
- The addition of beads to the connecting wire further stiffens the rig and helps with the fly profile. McFly flies maintain their "bait fish" profile while submerged.
- For casting, ideally suited for 8 - 12wt fly rods.
