These frogs are good top water , they are almost weed free in heavy tule areas,
Haven’t had any success though, tons of bites but can’t seem to set the hook in them, they may be a little big

I went to this place, knowing that it would be full of algae on top, and can be used for topwater lure. I threw few times, hits after hits and not a single damn hook. I tried and tried for about 2 hours, over 12 plus hits, not a single hook. WHY?

I finally got so mad that I ripped apart that stupid propellers, and then use it. Still no luck. I have caught enough bass to know what works and doesn't, this doesn't. If you want to wait for that luck of a chance, then go ahead. I would not recommend it - its no different than any other top water frog - useless.
