Is this shrinking tube like that for hair rigs?

Answer: Yes. It works well

Are these meant to shrink via torch or steam?

Answer: These are NOT shrink wrap tubing. They slide over your hook and line when making your hook rigs.

Why does it say shrink tube when they do not shrinkbat all?

Answer: Incorrect advertisement description I guess. These tubes will slide over a hook to hold the line in place when tying a rig and if you heat them up you might be able to slide it over a tiny swivel, but these are of a very small diameter and are not true shrink wrap.

Answer: I dont know, but i had the same issue with them not shrinking. Definitely dont shrink much if at all. I made them work for a while though. But ended up buying a diffrent type as well which shrank better.

Why would they say this product shrinks?

Answer: They don’t shrink.

How and why do you use them?

Answer: They are used for hairline rigs or to protect your tie off not on your hook. I make my own hairline rigs and it keeps the bait just above your hook. Slide hairline through then over your hook. Pull hairline straight up..keeps in place very well.

Answer: For tying carp rigs. YouTube has videos on them.
