I ordered this because I really wanted to use less room in the freezer. With this Foodsaver the packages are flatter and they stack better. I find that the Foodsaver rolls of bags are very expensive so I buy the n0-name brand and they are every bit as good. I am very satisfied with the performance of this Foodsaver vacuum sealer and am very happy with my purchase. It is so much fun to use, too, watching the air being removed and then the package sealed. It also comes with a hand-held sealer. All in all, a very good product. I would recommend it.

Useful for meat and dry goods storage, but not good for many other products. For example, anything that ripens, i. e. Bell peppers, rots faster. And word to the wise, freeze bread, muffins, and casseroles before sealing.
