What is the overall length of the size 12

Answer: We aim to keep the entire body length to about 2cm minus the two tail feathers. They're hand tied so lengths are 100% consistent as natural variation may occur.

Do they actually float?

Answer: Yes, the core of the body material is a closed cell high buoyancy foam. The wings are latex based. There is nothing to get water logged and sink like a traditional fly tied with natural materials.
