Will these accommodate a 2 or 3 oz. egg sinker in the head ? ideally i want a squid skirt that will take a 3 oz. egg sinker

Answer: For over 1/2, I'd probably want to run the sinker through a lathe & shape a marlin/tuna style butt end, then attach with floss like bigger game rigs. unstretched head is 1 inch by 5/8 inch & the neck (at eye) is probably 1/2 inch. This size is perfect for running as a hootchie in front of an unweighter anchovy or sardine for slow trolling salmon with a bigger drop weight in front. (No. CA style)

Answer: negative, prob max 1oz egg sinker.... we normally fish 1/2 in this size.

I bought two packages for use in making lures for Salmon. The look and feel is good but the smell is horrible. I opened these in our motorhome and we had to use fans to air it out. I have tried everything to try to get rid of the smell including soaking and washing but the smell remains. These are not suitable for my use and will be thowing them in the garbage. I had the same problem with another batch bought earlier. I should have learned my lesson. No more hoochies purchased on Amazon
