Ordered this as a tackle box supplement/filler for the upcoming fishing season.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything inside, as well as the diversity. This really comes with everything you need to fish for a wide variety of fish species(except bobbers). It included plenty of plastics, including one of my favorites, the twister tail jig (see photos below for images of each lure, I categorized them by plastics, spoons, crankbaits etc). I find these to be great for crappie and walleye fishing, if that is something you do. The plastics were all very soft and fresh, which means they will have goo realistic actions under water, and last a long time. There were 6 "Rapala" style crank baits, which at $3 a piece come in worth $18. The spoons are about an even split of silver and gold, and come in a variety of sizes depending on what you are trying to target.

One of the best parts of this set was the separate hook assortment, in its own box. Its great to be able to fish various different size baits and always have the right size hook. These are also worth a good amount of money, as I just bought a pack of 1 size of hooks that ran me $5. On top of this, there are 2 braided leaders (good for larger, toothed fish, if you didn't know). There are also a bunch of clasp swivels, large hooks, beads, and spinners for making your own lure additions. You also get a few sinkers, and bait sinkers.

Overall, this is a great tackle box filler, and I see my self using most of the things in here. The only thing that could have made this better is the inclusion of some bobbers, more jig head hooks, and maybe more variety of twister tail colors and less of the frogs/crayfish as I don't see myself using these.

I would recommend you buy this if you are a beginner to intermediate fisherman, you will use most if not all of the stuff in here. Very advanced fisherman would probably prefer to pick out each component individually, but who can afford the time or money required for that.

My wife got it for me for Christmas, alas I live near the sea and none of these lures are rated for the ocean. I have tried a few out and the play and action they get are decent. For the price, it is an ok collection of lures for someone with nothing.
