Which one is heavy and strong enough to use as an inline sinker? What are the weights?

Answer: I would choose the diamond one, it’s but I would say it’s not that heavy as a sinker may be around 1/8 Oz

Answer: Normally yes... however some do come with multi flashing colors: red, blue and green depends on which one you order. There are no battery replacements. Hermetically sealed. Once they die out, that's it. Some of mine are 2 years old and still working when put in water to activate them....

Answer: Both way work. Either simply add a hook or rigged them after or before other lures like spoon or baits, it will draw many strikes.

Answer: Sorry to say I have not used it. We live on the Jersey Shore and are experiencing our 4th Northeaster in 4 weeks. My plan is to try them in approximately 150’ along an old WWII wreck and see what happens. Can catch anything from flounder to blue-fin.

Could these be used ice fishing

Answer: I've had mine for two or three years now and they still light up. Most of the time they sit in my tackle box in the unheated garage. So, if it's the cold water you're apprehensive about, I wouldn't be. They're pretty tough. I don't ice fish, so I can't say much more about the subject at hand, but they are durable lures.

Answer: We only used them for a few hours last summer because we got them partway through the season, so we don’t know how long the battery will last. We used each one approximately 15 hours. Keep them dry, morning dew will activate the light. So bring the lures in at night.

Answer: I don't see how that would be possible, at least not with the ones I purchased. I got the ones for $15.99 that have the casting spoon attached. They light well and cast well, but you'd probably want one of the other styles for drop shotting. Having said that, I don't see why the simple lights stuffed into a plastic worm or curly tail jig wouldn't work for you.

Answer: The actual body of the device is polished brass, the split rings are stainless steel and the LED’s are encased in ABS plastic.

Answer: The flashers are plastic. I use these to replace the lights in my lighted flashers. Once you remove the split rings they can replace the existing lights

Answer: My guess is 1/8 to 3/8 ounce. I got the regular ones and they're small but they cast well, so I would guess they're about a 3/8 oz. rig.

Answer: It depends on what you are fishing for, but fishing in the Sea of Cortez for yellowtail and grouper I attach it to the top ring of the jig I am fishing. It also works for deep water bottom fishing

I bought these to try to increase the pike bite at night while ice fishing. Boy did it, I set them about 2 inches above my dead bait and it has increased my bite rate dramatically. I don't fish, but I swim, and I wear these to let other swimmers know I'm there. In 2018 I swam about 190 times. I very rarely do an hour's worth of laps. Usually between 20 & 40 min. At least one of them is now barely blinking red only.
I'd say they're rated to last for about half the advertised duration, which is still pretty long.

I am still not sure if it really works but I am catching more fish when I attached this light at the end of my sabiki rig after the sinker. I alternated between 2 sabiki rigs and the one with this light attached seems to catch more fish. So I guess it works.
