Answer: I would choose the diamond one, it’s but I would say it’s not that heavy as a sinker may be around 1/8 Oz

Answer: Normally yes... however some do come with multi flashing colors: red, blue and green depends on which one you order. There are no battery replacements. Hermetically sealed. Once they die out, that's it. Some of mine are 2 years old and still working when put in water to activate them....

Answer: Both way work. Either simply add a hook or rigged them after or before other lures like spoon or baits, it will draw many strikes.

Answer: Sorry to say I have not used it. We live on the Jersey Shore and are experiencing our 4th Northeaster in 4 weeks. My plan is to try them in approximately 150’ along an old WWII wreck and see what happens. Can catch anything from flounder to blue-fin.

Could these be used ice fishing

Answer: I've had mine for two or three years now and they still light up. Most of the time they sit in my tackle box in the unheated garage. So, if it's the cold water you're apprehensive about, I wouldn't be. They're pretty tough. I don't ice fish, so I can't say much more about the subject at hand, but they are durable lures.

Answer: We only used them for a few hours last summer because we got them partway through the season, so we don’t know how long the battery will last. We used each one approximately 15 hours. Keep them dry, morning dew will activate the light. So bring the lures in at night.

Answer: I don't see how that would be possible, at least not with the ones I purchased. I got the ones for $15.99 that have the casting spoon attached. They light well and cast well, but you'd probably want one of the other styles for drop shotting. Having said that, I don't see why the simple lights stuffed into a plastic worm or curly tail jig wouldn't work for you.

Answer: The actual body of the device is polished brass, the split rings are stainless steel and the LED’s are encased in ABS plastic.

Answer: My guess is 1/8 to 3/8 ounce. I got the regular ones and they're small but they cast well, so I would guess they're about a 3/8 oz. rig.

Answer: It depends on what you are fishing for, but fishing in the Sea of Cortez for yellowtail and grouper I attach it to the top ring of the jig I am fishing. It also works for deep water bottom fishing

Gave these a try a day or two ago. They worked and lasted through the trip. We made several drops for swords to about 1300' of water with these. Despite several reviews saying they failed after a few drops, these were working towards the end of the trip. In addition, they survived a couple hard drops on the deck as well. $15 for several of these vs. $15 for one LP Duralite these are a win so far.

Been fishing all my life and when a friend suggested these thought I'd try them. If they didn't work something else in the tackle box to give people I take fishing with me. Well they work and a definite increase in solid strikes and not just nibbles noted. Give them a try and make sue to use fluorocarbon leader.

Amazing! I definitely saw an improvement of strikes using these for both catfishing and walleye. I added a large hook to the clip holding the light and caught a big channel cat that was hitting the light. It also is nice when night fishing to see where your line hits the water. I used the same one for a whole let summer, no issue with battery life! My hubby has used (and lost!!) Some of these as well, no issue with brightness or batteries. Just make sure to store them dry and one could last you a full season ( they do like to snag so don't let them rest on the bottom of the lake/pond)

I've had the most success with the white flasher so far. Not to be used while drifting though as it doesn't seem to have much effect. Will use these again this fall for SeaBass but probably not for Blackfish.
