What is the hook size on these?

Answer: These hooks r made to catch gold fish, do not buy, came from China, not worth your money

The length given, is that just the size of the tear drop section, or the entire length including hook bend to eye..?

Answer: I can tell you that I did the 4mm size and these are closer to a 2mm size is what I received. So they are very small.

Would it be possible to by 30 pieces, 15 5mm and 15 6mm?

Can these be painted easily?

Answer: Yes they take paint well and last reasonably long, more then a season for me.

Are these soldered together and will heating to powder coat make them fall apart?

Answer: Yes they are. They will easily take a coat, just gotta watch your heat while dipping.

What size hooks are used?

Answer: They are small. I'd say size 12.

What size do I get for Bluegill?

Answer: I would get the 4mm. They are closer to a standard 2mm you would buy in the stores.

Order the 5mm for finicky crappies and sunfish. They are sharp and tough little jigs. The smaller sizes must be almost unusable, the 5mm will work with spikes, larva, or wax worms.

All of them have a split from the eyelet down to where the hook comes out of the bottom! Can’t hide it with paint!

The hooks are tiny. I wish they would sell just the slotted beads so we could cement our own high quality #8 hooks. I never use smaller than #10 hooks for bluegill and they have the smallest mouths.

The jigs seemed like a quality product. They came quicker than predicted. If you plan to use them for ice fishing crappie or bluegill buy the larger size. The 3mm seem to be too small. The company was good to work with a quick to reply to email. Would buy again. Just the larger size.

The hooks in the photo are clearly not the hooks on the jigs. They are useless - unless I can melt off the hooks and solder on new "real" hooks they are a total waste of money. I should have known better. 25 jigs for $20 is not such a great deal anyway.
