What size hooks do I need to buy for this?

Answer: A single 8/0 long-shank hook that's positioned with spacer beads to ride near the tail end of the lure skirt

Does the head have an oversize hole to allow for pre-rigged wire loops?

Answer: Sort of. When I use pre-rigged ballyhoo, sometimes I clip the loop and re tie it, and sometimes I pinch it with pliers to make it smaller and fit through.

Answer: No i dont think they would fit. We make our own but thread the wire first before making the loop. These are killer lures i love them.

Got two of the blue and white ones. First trip out we put a pre-rigged ballyhoo on and caught a sailfish and two Yellowfin Tuna. You just cut the wire on the pre-rigged ballyhoo, run the wire through the head, tie a haywire twist to make a loop, attach to your snap swivel and you are ready to fish. Next trip caught a nice Wahoo. The heavy head helps keep it in the water. These things rigged up with a ballyhoo are killer !!!
