What is the length of the bait fish alone?

Answer: Approx 4" body and 1.5" lip. Long bait

Has anyone trolled with these lures?

Answer: I just got back from the lake.. caught two Rainbows trolling with the blue one. Had the best luck at about 3-3.5 mph.

Answer: I would not troll with this particular lure because fishing from the bank casting the lures came apart during normal casing. The lip of the lure was only retrieved. If a fish larger than a Bream would become attached you would likely lose the fish and lure. Good luck!!!

Answer: I have not had that problem with mine.I think your snapping your rod tip to hard,or your line is to heavy for the weight of the lure.

Answer: I do not have that problem if you leave 3 feet or so hanging off the tip it will hip your cast

Answer: they dive down to 15 feet if you crank/reel them quick, but you can control the depth by how fast you reel them, and you can keep the tip of your rod up high so that stops them from diving deep.. they are really good lures and they do catch fish...

Answer: No they are a diving lure and only go deep when you reel them in. They are a very nice inexpensive lure and are a really good deal for small to medium fish. The hooks are a little light for say stripper.

Answer: Depends on depth of water you are fishing, in shallow (3-4 feet) they bump bottom; in 8 ft they sometimes bump bottom with a rapid retrieve. But with a slower retrieve they rise to top and then dive. They will hang up on hidden structure, but mostly float free if you stop retrieving.

Lures are poorly made, and the attractive price hooked me. During my cast, from the bank, my lure struck the ground and shattered leaving the bill. Spend the extra money for lures.

Not great quality. The paint job on them is fine but the hooks themselves rust after only a couple of uses. A couple of the bills came chipped. They still swim fine but if you do a lot of 10 foot+ deeper water cranking, I would look for something with better trebles.
