does this product come with the trailor like the picture shows, because reviews are saying it didnt?

Answer: These DO NOT come with a trailer. The old product did, at one time, but not any more. It does not matter any because this Chatterbait does the job really well. It works. You can put any trailer you want on it. You will catch bass all day long.

Answer: Here's the confusing part... some do and some don't. If you happen to get older stock they did used to come with it but Z-Man stopped inserting this trailer as people really just buy other ones and it has kept them from doing a price increase. (my theory anyways)

Answer: Mine did not come with it so i was refunded my money and got to keep the bait

Answer: It does not always come with the trailer but you can complain and hope for the best. If not they carry the trailer at Dick's or Walmart very inexpensive

Answer: Some do and some don't. Depends on which one you order. I got some without and just used half of a plastic worm, with a yellow tail. I get the most hits on that one.

what trailer works the best on the chatterbait?

Answer: I put a split tail, zoom, on it, had a nice fish break off on the chartreuse one but it was my knot, heard it works great in the spring and fall without a skirt. I would recommend this for any serious angler who fishes water that gets lots of pressure.

Answer: My Z-Man Chatter baits came with matching trailers and they work fine.

Answer: I've had luck using Crawdad and swim bait chunks/trailers

Could I use this in saltwater for speckled trout

Answer: Yes even though it might be a little big for the smaller trout. Definitely could use for reds and flounder.

Does anyone else who has purchased this lure think the skirt is skimpy?

Answer: You might think so but the profile is just thr right size. I have caught countless small bass and a couple pickeral with it.

Amazing Lure, 3 cast i caught a 5.1 lbs Large Mouth, 2 casts after i caught 4.6 lbs, Caught a bunch 2 to 3 lbs + after, It does take some skill to work it correctly but once you get it down they are amazing, I use the JackHammer series mostly with a 4.5in Shadz Z Green Pumpkin with black flake, My color of choice for the JackHammer is Bhite delight, I slay them with it.

Saw so many positive reviews about chatterbait that I had to get one. For river and small lake fishing in NH I haven’t caught on fish. I think it’s just two big for most areas in fishing. I have a nice dark colored salamander attached now and nothing. I catch so many more bass on spinners and floaters. IDK maybe I just suck with this lure, but I catch half a dozen large mouth every time with my other lures?

I had so much fun throwing this bait I came back and bought two more. Extremely versatile and responsive. Run it on top, work as a jig, swim it, it responded to everything and I caught bass from sunrise to sunset.

I received the container but the bait was not in it. I wouldn’t blame anyone be if you don’t believe me, but it’s true. I have no idea how I could prove that. And, the thing is, I don’t have anything to “return” so that route hasn’t worked and I doubt it will. Amazon is probably going to think I’m just trying to get another one of these for free. To this point, I haven’t been able to figure out how to email or call them to discuss the matter. If anyone knows how to do that, I would appreciate the advice. Thanks.
