Answer: No it is for bigger game fish

Answer: This rig works perfect for bluegill, Rock bass, crappie, etc. Works extremely well for smallies.

It's there another quality jig head option for the ned rig, these hooks don't seem too reliable

Answer: Berkley Half Head Jigs are great. I think the hook is better, and you get more for the $$. For example the 16th ounce ones are around $4 for 8 jigs.

Answer: The heads are good quality but the hooks are pretty crap unfortunately. You can bend them by hand tho when they eventually lose their shape.

Answer: Bass Pro has a similar version. However, I have not experienced anything negative in using Z man jigs.

Always stock up on mushroom jigs. When it gets hot and the bass get very lethargic this is my jam. Paired up with a finesse trd (green pumpkin or peanut butter and jelly) you will crush the fish all day

I see some reviews referring to these hooks are too small or too thin in my own opinion and experience I do not believe that if you have the proper set up and I am referring to Rod as well as fishing line but primarily the fishing rod itself this is not meant to be fished on heavy tackle it is all finesse try these with the right set up and you will not have any issues some people like medium fishing rod using these I prefer a medium light with 6 to 8 pound test with a medium light rod and fast action you will have no problem with setting the hook effortlessly hope this helps Great product

Fish cast caught about a 1 pound largemouth bass and the hook broke when I pulled the fish onto the bank, caught several larger 3+ pound bass on the same hook and haven’t had an issue? Guess it was just a bad hook but I sure would have been mad if It was a lunker and the hook broke. The same brand Ned worms is awesome they last a long time and don’t damage easy

Easy to bend, and big fish will bend this or throw it. Good when you snag up tho, cuz you can bend the hook and become unsnagged.. Good weight to this jig

Typically only write reviews if something is really good or really bad, this product is not good, hook it very thin and not sharp(loses it sharpness very quickly) oh and the worse part these hooks bend on everything they catch on including fish, when I go through 4 jig heads and only baits while catching 7 fish that’s a big problem for me, Ned rigs always work so it doesn’t matter what kind of mushroom jig head you use, but do yourself the favor and skip this one
