Squarebill Crankbait
Designed to the exact specifications of angling legend Kevin VanDam. Perfect for shallow water and power fishing. The squarebill design and unique "hunting" action will constantly "wander" with erratic movement, while still running true. It also deflects perfectly off cover to entice strikes. The KVD series of baits are designed with no internal rattles for a "silent" approach.

The KVD 1.5 Flat Side crankbait has a slender modified flat side for erratic thumping action with a body size similar to the KVD 1.5 Squarebill.

Answer: It's about 2 1/2 inches with a tight wobble. Great around the bank shallow off wood or rocks you can even rip it through the edge of the grass line but don't be afraid to throw in open water I caught a 6 1/2 this past December throwing straight out from the bank

Answer: A perch color is good and also yellow with black top is good
Answer: I like chartreuse with black. I catch fish all year round with that color. Or if your pond or lake is full of bream go with a bream color also. Awesome lure I love them have caught many fish ranging from 2lbs to 8lbs

Anyone try this lure to catch Salt water fish in the shallows?
Answer: I have the best luck with this and pretty much any other crank bait when I'm banging it into the rocks on the bottom. With the square billed crank baits being the bulldozer of the cranking world, I assume you would have similar success in the ocean in either sand or rock bottom beaches. As you would need to be cracking it on the shoreline seeing that it only runs about 3 feet deep.

Dip&Dunk : Good/bad
Good news/bad news. Good: caught 13 bass in two days. Bass were feeding on schooling shad and this was a good match. Bad: about every fifth cast the forward treble caught on lip. Also on about every other caught bass, line would slip between hooks on treble (using 8 lb braided). Finally, lip is made in two pieces and on second day line got stuck on a cast between two pieces. Threw lure away.

caught 3 fish in a hour with orange beam! but did not buy here bought at my local sheels. the reason for 4 stars is because on the 3rd fish the front treble hook broke so had to spend another $6 on treble hooks
