Answer: Yes

how does it attach to your vest? It would be nice to see the back of it.

Answer: It has a metal clip that's pretty firm and stiff. I used them in an Umpqua pack but I'm sure they'd be fine in or on a vest. Tight lines!

Answer: It a safety pin as long as whatever you put on it isn't too heavy it works fine

I use this for holding a couple of photography accessories when I'm out and about. As long as the items can clip to the split ring and don't weigh too much this work great. I'm very happy I found them.

They work for now, the CLIP on the back is sturdy but, its a little too wide to fit through the d-ring on my fly fishing vest, nothing 5min with a dremel couldnt fix. Wish there was a little more detail in the description.
