The Super Herring Special is designed for Herring, Anchovies and artificial imitation baits more than 6 inches (15cm) long. The hook must be set into the bait to produce the correct action which is a tight roll of 1-2 turns per second. The hook position and the amount of curve in the bait determine the lure action and the speed of the bait roll.
