Answer: Primarily freshwater I think but equally suited for saltwater with the right hooks

Answer: The ones I bought were for bass. I wouldn't by them again. Good lookin bait, but it caught me and not the fish.

How many lures did you get for the $6.05 price? It reads like you only get one.

Answer: Got more than one, but difficult lure to use. Don't waste yur money, if a bass man, plastic worms and jointed Rapalas.

Outdoorsman : Eyes have limited lifespan, but the fish don't mind. Durable core.

I purchased these over the summer to target smallmouth bass and walleye, but ended up using them on a dropshot rig in local ponds with good success for largemouth bass. As others noted, they look amazing right out of the package, but the stick-on eyes don't last a long time. I haven't found the presence/lack of the eye to make a difference in effectiveness. I did notice that the embedded holographic braided tubing really adds to the life of the bait - especially if you rig the bait with so that the hook goes through that webbing. The bait will not easily tear-off and you'll be able to use it for a number of fish. The flash that these baits have due to the embedded holographic material is what really sets them apart from other similar baits. When the bait rolls onto its side on the fall it really gets the attention of fish in the area.

I just got them in the mail today and took them to the local pond. I hardly catch largemouth there except dawn or dusk. Today about 4pm I dropshotted the sassy shad 3" and got 3 in a row then 2 more in 2 hours. Thats the most I ever caught in a day there. There aren't even shad in the pond. I usually use rainbow trout rapalas because they stock them. I thrown senkos and spinnerbaits without this success. I just ordered 2 more packs and am trying the perch color. I can' get over how effective these baits are. Maybe Lunkerhunt could make a rainbow trout color. I would definitely buy them.

Great life like soft bait. They are a little small but have nice action and are very durable. The strip of woven flash in the center of the bait looks great but can make adjusting and positioning the hook difficult.

I have purchased this exact item as well as other variations / sizes of them. The baits I received fell apart the first time I put a hook through it to fish. In the past I could reuse the bait at least a couple times, this time they just fell apart, and could not be used again. This is a pricey bait, and just to use it once is not acceptable to me at least.

I wound pair this with a trapper finesse hook and 3/8 ounce and smaller drop shot weight
I have used these in the past and caught many 3 pounders in deeper water near lay downs they real like that flash. Other people give it bad review because they don’t know how to use it but the eyes do fall off.

the bait is very fragile , difficult to rig without damage, i had to go down 3 hook sizes just to not damage the bait

Lure looks great ! But tears easily when hooks or jigs inserted..especially the eyes....lure looks the part..ought a catch fish....didnt work for me.
