Caught about 10 bass in 2 hours using this lure on a Texas rig. 2 were 3 pounders. I found it works best to cut off several inches of the body and just leave enough for the hook and keep the full length of the ribbon tail. It may have been a bit aggressive and intimidating to the 12 inch bass I was mostly catching at it’s full size. Frequency of bites definitely increased once I modified it. It works for sure though.
