Answer: 9 1/4" Center to center of hole

Answer: As I recall they fit a standard 8" sealer. One mount on the sealer is spring loaded so you have about 1/4" of play. I don't have the wires handy so I can't measure them.

Approx how long will these last? 100 uses? 1,000 uses? 2500 uses? i know it varies, but i would like an estimate. thank you

Answer: I probably seal 500 or so products per time and maybe after 12 or 15 times I have to replace one. If I keep the Teflon cover strip clean and intact (move it around if it gets a burnt spot so the Teflon strip is intact over the "hot spot") the element lasts a lot longer. Took me a few times to figure that out. 

Answer: It will do 100, but it depends on how well you treat it.

Answer: Hmm.... I guess it depends on your heating settings? One lasts me 3-4 months, and I use it every day.

Answer: each heater strip will last approximately 500 bags. hope this helps

I have a midwest pacific mp-8 impulse sealer. Will these tapes and wires work for my unit.

Answer: The midwest pacific mp-8 sealer appears to be nearly identical to the u-line 8 inch sealer. I'm pretty sure these service kits would be interchangeable.

I Have a MEC 200H Impulse sealer 8" and wondering if this would fit my unit?

Answer: I have lots of dofferent 8" models. This kit works on them all.

When ordering be sure to know which type of heating elements you need. I was unaware that there were two types, flat and round. I needed the round but these are flat. Fortunately, the seller has excellent customer service, except for Joyce who thought it was a good idea to insult a customer. When they were made aware that these didn't work for me, they sent me the correct ones which work as expected.

I thought the sealer was broken and I almost threw it away until I went on You Tube and ordered the wire heat elements. So far it's working now.
