Used on chicken livers, processed as specified. Dried livers stayed on the hooks very well, ZERO fish caught out of 30 baited hooks fishing evening hours. (Fished jugs on the Tennessee River) Stink bait, blood dough and hot dogs worked. Will try again to use the rest of the bottle, but not as a primary bait.

Curing livers with the pro-cure uv double red powder absolutely make the livers a "Kat- Killer" bait.Simply follow directions on can & don't rush the process.However...in my case I use my livers in small sacks made from 7/8" tubular gauze.my rod is set up with double stinger rig utilizing 2 -#5 circle hooks tied using a knotless knot;tying one just above the other.fold top of the liver sack over couple times.Insert the top hook(closest to rod tip);then simply twirl bag until it gets tight,then insert the other hook right through the middle of sack..Hold rod firmly & tite lines to ya!

I watched this product being used in youtube videos and thought I would give it a shot. It's made to cure eggs and when used as directed I'm sure it works fine, but I used this product to "cure" chicken livers and fished with it beside "uncured" livers and I haven't caught a fish on the cured livers yet. It does make the livers tough, but they soften up after being in the water for a couple mins. Not the result I had expected.

Can't tell yet...used it several times, and it does make chicken livers much tougher. They stay on the hook. Caught a couple fish with the cured livers (you were probably looking at this product because of the YouTube videos, same as me), but I don't think it's as good as raw livers, though it stays on the hook great.
