Answer: My brother fishes saltwater a good bit and is much better at it than me. He swears by the shrimp for salt and freshwater. I use for bass with good success.

Answer: I did not notice any stain on my lures. At the end of the day I always wash my lures with dawn lemon or non-scent. They seem to be fine. Bucktail?????

Answer: I have had luck using Lunker Lotion with salmon and other species, and actually think that you can use it anywhere, anytime. No experience with halibut, sorry.

I tried using this in different areas with the appropriate gear (using it on lures and on different baits). It did not work to attract fish as advertised. I used it for panfish and catfish. Nothing. I used hot dogs and caught more fish. Will not buy again.

We were using similar setups and I wasn't getting near the bites and lands that he was. He ended up having to tie on a new jig and plastic and I saw him grab this stuff from his tackle box and apply it. I asked him about it and he told me to put some on. WOW, an immediate difference! Now I swear by this stuff. I apply it to all my plastics and so far I've caught Bluegill, Crappie and Bass.
The small amount you apply will last you all day long! 4oz doesn't seem like much, but this will easily last me all year!

I usually never post reviews, but this one deserves my attention. As a fisherman I like having an edge while fishing (or like to think this will help catch more fish), bought this thinking it'll help when I'm using various lures. Opened the bottle smelled fishy A+. I placed the bottle face up in my side pocket of my tackle bag. Before any fishing trip I check my bag before I go. I took the bottle out of my bag to find it completely soaked in its own juices covering my sunglasses, couple spools of fluro line, and measuring tape. I thought ok maybe I didn't tighten the lid on correctly or a stray hook pierced the bottle. I checked it thoroughly, nothing. I decided to place the bottle in a ziploc baggy for extra protection and placed my tackle box and inside in a closet, maybe the temperature made the juice leak due to heat pressure. Once again the bottle leaked all over the place... nope not worth salvaging this. Do not know if I got a faulty bottle or not. Waste of time and money.

This stuff is legit for Catfishing. Caught 5 cats in 2 hours in a heavily pressured lake. 3 groupsof people fishing next to me, all using same bait, I'm the only one catching fish. This is the only difference. Garlic scent is money

Mike's Lunker Lotion is a very effective bait and lure addition to your fishing box. You can cover your bait or lure with its sticky stuff and make a noticeable addition to your fishing results. Mike makes his lotion for lots of fish varieties, but I have luck with any of them on any fish. I have used Lunker Lotion since July 2014, and am very satisfied with the results.
