Has anyone used these with red drum? Have they held up?

Answer: I have used them in mosquito lagoon to catch large redfish without any issue.

are these flies good quality?

Answer: These flies are tied very well. I've had no issues catching multiple brown/bows on a single fly. Occasionally an eye will come off of the super buggers which is an easy fix.

Answer: Great quality. Looks like something you would buy at a fly shop.

Answer: I've caught many fish with them, and they've held up well. I was a little nervous about purchasing them, but I am pleased with them.

What brand hooks are these flies tied on?

What size leader should be used with the heavier flies? Tapered? Straight mono?

Answer: I use straight mono, but I have larger redfish and trout where fish. Some of these are fairly large

Answer: I use tapered mono with 5 lb rating since fishing for smallmouth in Canada. Holds up well.
