If nothing is working, try this. I used a few rapalas when i was a kid and never had any luck with them. Gave up really. I found a shad rap one day recently and decided to try it out. Wow did it catch fish like nothing i have ever used. I heard some good thinga about jointed crankbaits and bought a silver shad colored jointed shad rap and it changed my life. I have caught trout, crappy, walleye, large mouth bass, wipers and even a 3 foot northern pike with this thing. I have the best luck trolling with it but it works from shore too.
