The Fishbites 0080 E-Z Shrimp Saltwater Long Lasting Bait can be used on a bare hook or as a trailer on a jig or skirt and each bait strip is 1/2 inch wide and 12 inches long. They can be used to catch a whole host of saltwater species. The lures are made of biodegradable hydrogel plastic making them environmentally safe. Just cut it, hook it and cast it. How EZ is that? 2 bait strips per bag. Fishbites are the result of a lifelong passion for fishing and decades of scientific research. Does this have the mesh inside?

Answer: Yes. As far as I know, all Fishbites baits are made this way. Great bait on plain hooks and really works well for tipping jigs. I catch a lot of flounder with a bucktail jig and this bait. Good fishing!

J - Mo : Works great as bait. Color matters a lot!

I’ve found the white strips perfect for surf fishing here in SE FL. Unfortunately sometimes packers are colorblind and just send you fishbites in whatever color they have. My most recent order of white came in packs of flesh color which is terrible since that blends in with the sand instead of standing out.
