Questions about Zoom Bait Finesse Worm Bait-Pack of 20
Q:
Does it float?
Answer: It does not float.
Answer: No, it does not float.
Answer: Yes, but very close to neutral buoyancy. I use these for shaky heads. Work great!
Answer: Yes, but very close to neutral buoyancy. I use them for shaky heads.
Answer: No
Q:
Why are these so expensive? Like more than double.
Answer: Just bought the same pack from Walmart for 3.88
Answer: what product are you talking about. Cecil Chester
Q:
How much does each worm weigh?
Answer: I don't know, but I would not use a worm weight over 1/4 oz. mostly I use a 1-8 or 3-16 oz, weight, Hope this helps.....
Answer: I found this worm to be very light. Much lighter than the other major brands. Good bait though.
Answer: Idk for sure but about like a pencil
Q:
will these work for catfish too
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: I don't think worms are preferred bait for catfish (think hunks of meat or bread) but if you weighted this and dragged it across the bottom you might entice a catfish or two.
Answer: No, in the last five years I have caught a lot of bass and only one cat fish. I am pretty sure I hit him in the head with it
Q:
Why is the price double normal retail for the trick worms?
Q:
What is the most versatile color?
Answer: without a doubt, I think green pumpkin is the best color that zoom has ever made. I have used it for years, in all shapes and sizes. I have about 200 in my boxes right now. good luck...……. Cecil Chester
Answer: Junebug, Watermelon Seed, Smoking Purple and Smoking Blue are good colors depending on water conditions. Muddy, clear or stained watercan determine what color works best. Hope this helps you, good fishing to you.
Answer: Green pumpkin
Q:
Best color for river trout?
Answer: Haven’t heard of these being used but I’d pick a natural color. If I was going to use an artificial worms I’d use the half crawler by Berkley Powerbaits.
Answer: Too big for trout. Try powerbait pink 3inch worms
Q:
How many to a pack?
Answer: Hum.....that’s tricky.....the ad says 20!
Q:
what size are these?
Answer: Probably 6 inch
Answer: about 5 inches long, easy hook up and to use.
Answer: They're 5 inches long.
Q:
Quiero saber si estan disponible para que me llegue en un solo paquete
Q:
Are these better than Senko?
Answer: These worms are some of the fish catchingest worms you can buy. I highly recommend California 420 and watermelon candy or watermelon candy red. If you need some brightness dip the tail in spike-it soft plastic dye chartreuse in either garlic or crawfish scent. This is by far the best worm for a drop shot or a Carolina rig. If you are throwing a wacky or weightless you should go with his big brother the trick worm. Zoom baits catch more fish and bigger fish. Just read about all the fish in the share lunker program on Toledo bend most of the fish over 10 lbs were caught on zoom baits.
Q:
What is the length of these worms?
Answer: 4.75 inches long
Answer: 4 inches
Q:
What works better June bug or Green pumpkin?
Answer: Depends on where you are fishing, water clarity. Personally I would say green pumpkin is a good all around color. Watermelon red is the most all around favored color.
Answer: ON THE FINESSE WORM I HAVE FPOUND ,ESPECIALLY DURING BEDDDEING SEASON THAT THE JUNEBUG FINESSE WORM WITH A 1/0 OWNER OFFSET WORM HOOK, MOVED VERY SLOWLY THROUGH THE BEDDING AREA WORKS VERY WELL.
Answer: It depends on the color of the water. Both colors are 2 of the best available and probably equally catch as many fish depending on the water conditions.
Q:
What size hook do I use for this?
Answer: it depends on the size of the worm or brush hog you are using.. start with a #1, then go up from there, till you find the right combination. good luck. Cecil Chester
Q:
What size hook should I use for a drop shot rig?
Answer: MOST PEOPLE USE 4 TO 1/0
Q:
Do they float?
Answer: No they don't, they will stand up pretty good on a Shaky head. They are great worms and will catch you many bass but if you want a floating worm go with X-Man floating worms.
Answer: no they do not..I use a 3-16 oz, texas rig . hope this helps cecil chester
Answer: No they don't. They are meant to slowly sink, like a natural worm.
Q:
I really wanna buy these, what color should I get
Answer: All depends on what color the water is your fishing. A lot of guides on line to help you out.
Answer: the best color I have ever used is green pumpkin good luck
Answer: the number one seller is green pumpkin
Q:
this product is how many inches?
Answer: about 5 inches
Q:
how many does it bring?
Q:
Do these worms float?
Answer: Not really, but fished without any weight and a small 1/0 worm hook they will submerge fairly slow. Hope that helps.
Q:
what size are the worms
Answer: about six inches.
Q:
Can you catch Bluegill with this?
Answer: Depending on the size of Blugill in your area, typically where I fish they don’t get big enough although they will absolutely up the tail trying to eat them. Hope that helps.
Answer: Doubt it, it’s a 4.75 in. Dropshot worm for bass fishing.
Answer: Maybe but the worm is too big for them to eat. Buy a grub or a small jig.
Answer: No
Q:
Hmmm, Retail price of $3.99 and Prime is over $8.00, where's the free shipping in that???
Answer: One of those silly math problems again.
Q:
what is the length of these baits?

Answer: About 5"
Q:
whats the length of these baits
Answer: 4.5 in
Product reviews of Zoom Bait Finesse Worm Bait-Pack of 20

I out fish everybody using the Zoom Finesse Worm. I use the wacky-rig technique. Been using it for many years. Has never failed to catch (I target bass) fish.
DANA P : Outstanding
Shhhhhhh, you tell this to anyone, I KEEL YOU !!!!!! ????
Kraeye : Probably works with other types of fish
smells like plastic, if the type of fish does not care with the smell of a bait then get this, so far does not work for me.
John : Five Stars

josh : Four Stars

Card lover : Cheaper than the senko
The Zoom finesse worm is cheaper, and in my mind easier to fish than the senko. reason being you can fish it faster by jerking it slightly in the water, I have caught a lot of bass by jerking it slightly and then letting it fall, the bass usually pick it up on the fall. When I was fishing this lure I once saw 3 bass following it, trust me its an attractive lure. I fish this on a 2/0 EWG hook with 6-10lb monofilament, my favorite color is green pumpkin magic. When I bought mine it was $4 for 20, that is a lot better than a senko that costs $8-10 for a 10 pack. The Senko is an effective lure, however I like to fish this more because it costs a lot less, you can work it in the water faster and because it is a smaller lure so I feel like you get more bites. If you are new to bass fishing, this isn't a hard lure to fish, and you get a lot more for a lot less than senko's.
orlandodawg : Works most of the time
Use these on a small body of water with very little fishing pressure, but the fish are still easily spooked..prefer darker colors, but these work when the dark colors don't
Lou : Meh...
I have many colors of worms but I can count on cotton candy to slay bass down here in ms. I drop shot these worms and they're money in the bank.
Marc Appolinaire : Perfect for bass
Perfect for bass. Tried these with my son and we did so many fish. Worked with blue gills as well.
Justen : Five Stars
The new kiwi color is a bass catcher!
Ron Olmsted : Excellent Worm Bait
We caught several smallmouth, including Master Angler fish, using this worm. I highly recommend it!
P&P B. : Finesse Worms
Descent worms. Although I haven’t caught anything on it! I’m new to Fresh Water fishing relocating to Oregon from Hawaii. I would recommend this product
L.L. : Four Stars
good
P. Lertora : Works great
Worked great. Like all these plastic worms, only good for a few catches
Charles Marcoe : Neat color
Good looking lure-all arrived whole, unbent tails, looking good-I just got this color(natural blue) but I’m an old hand with zoom all sizes. Very versitile lure, tryusing corkscrew eye in nose, then insert an 1/0 or down to #4 hook in the eyelite not into the worm body—wild action on the jerk!!!

AK : The size is perfect to catch anywhere from smaller bass to large bass
Although they break quite a bit, these little buggers have constantly been catching some serious bass!! The size is perfect to catch anywhere from smaller bass to large bass. I've caught a fish each time I have used them, and I am not a salt water fisherman!

Dave S : Five Stars
Great bait
M. Hirst : Caught hundreds of bass
I caught over 70 bass with these worms last season alone - as many as 8 in an evening. Typical size 2-4 lbs, plus a few lunkers every now and then.
Favorite colors are Green Pumpkin Magin, Green Watermelon Magic, and straight Black. These never fail in my lake which varies between fairly clear and fairly muddy depending on the conditions. I've tried variations of blue and red as well, but these aren't as reliable in my lake. YMMV.
I pitch these at the shorelines from a boat, or down the shore one way or the other if fishing from the banks. Rig them Texas style, weedless, and weightless, and cast them into cover (cat-tails, fallen trees, shadows, lake grass, etc). Retrieve insanely slow (like one revolution of the handle per 3-5 seconds). Usually the slower the better. The bass typically bite on the drop or within 5-10 feet of the shore during the retrieve.
My setup is a Berkley Lightening Rod (medium light) with 6 lb test and a 2/0 hook (either plain offset or extra wide gap). With 6 pound test, these things cast pretty far and with a light or medium light rod, you can really feel the bite.
Good luck, happy fishing!
ditzygirl : bass buster
