PAUTZKE FIRE BRINE

Fire Brine replaces homemade brines. It takes the guesswork out of brining, while toughening your bait so it doesn’t break apart as quickly, prolongs the life of the bait, makes it flashy, helps the scales shine, gives it color and makes it more durable, saving you time and money!

What you need:

Fire Brine color of your choice
1 Gallon Ziploc or Tupperware
Frozen/fresh cut bait

Various Colors

Fire Brine is available in seven colors (blue, natural, red, chartreuse, orange, purple, & NEW green) to provide maximum flexibility in your bait choices.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: Remove cut bait from bait trays and place in Ziploc or Tupperware.
Step 2: Pour enough Fire Brine in bag/container to submerge cut bait.
Step 3: Store in a cool place for 6-12 hours.

will this work on sweet corn?

How long can the bait be kept in the cure. Can you soak yo long?

Answer: Not sure- I used it for a few days- bait stayed pliable enough

Answer: Not sure I followed the directions and was very disappoined with the results.

I use inch long hotdogs soak in garlic. Will it work on hotdogs if I replace this product instead of garlic.

Answer: This stuff Works killer on most anything.

Answer: Don t know why it would nt. The cure will probably toughen the hot dog so it will stay on longer.

can this be used for live minnows?

Answer: Yes it can be used on live minnows.

can you use the pautzkes dye to darken color even more?

Answer: I don’t see why you couldn’t, but it’s already pretty dark.

Can you add food coloring to change colors?

Answer: No

This type of product is hard to evaluate, many factors play into Salmon fish bites for now I will continue to use until somebody fishing on the same boat start pulling in more Salmon than me. Note: gloves are a must with this fluid and I rinse any drolets off of the boat right away. The fluid will stain your hands however typically gone in two days.

I use Krippled Anchovy rotary lure and need to handle the bait to get the rotation correct.

It does nothing except stain your bait whatever color it is.
