I have found the perfect combination especially when fishing the banks in 3-10ft of water. I Texas rig this with a small tungsten weight and glass bead. After that, I tie another hook on without any weight about 4ft above that one. I let the first one sink to the bottom before I start reeling. I will hop the one on the bottom about 2-3 inches at a time without ever really completely stopping. As the bottom one is hopping and dragging, the one above it is always falling slowly. I catch 2/3 of them off of the top one as it’s falling. Also, I dip the tails in a bottle of garlic chartreuse. The fish will chew on it for 2-3 seconds every time instead of spitting it out immediately and I think the bright tail whipping around helps attract the fish. I usually can catch 3-4 fish on each worm before it keeps slipping down the hook which is no big deal because they work so well. I even use these at night time. I made the mistake of trying to “go big” at night time by using black and blue plastics or jigs. This is probably the best bait I’ve ever used. Just don’t buy them all because I’ll be a returning customer and I don’t want them out of stock!!! lol. Just buy one pack and I promise you that you will buy more. Fish violently attack this bait.

Grubworm is right the tail gets bitten off very easy but I will say this... on a cloudy over cast day I switched from a green pumpkin color to this one and they went crazy over it! The chartreuse tail sent the bass crazy
