The Daiichi 4660 is a standard wire bronze jig hook with a 90 degree leg and a flat eye. European style float fishing re-kindled an interest in using jig hooks for flies suspended in a horizontal plane. The 90 degree leg allows the hook to "keel" so that it travels through the water with the hook point up, making them snag less often. The Daiichi 4663 is the same style hook with a bright red finish. The color red has dominated the bass fishing market since TTI, INC. developed and marketed the Daiichi Bleeding Bait(TM) series in 2001. Red hooks have proven themselves as an asset to catching many species of fish, including Bass, Perch, and Trout.
