Nothing beats a deep water jig for any fish in the ocean. Great lure.

I purchased about ten of these jigs in various sizes and weights. I've enjoyed much success using them. However, I will never purchase another one. On my last fishing trip I used a new one fresh out of the package. On the first cast the half the paint and coating fell out on one side. In the past it has been my experience that the paint and hologram were not very durable. The quality is poor and I will never buy another one again despite the success I've had with them

Took two 8 oz and two 6 oz jigs on a 36 hr tuna trip out of Galveston. Once the bite was on, I landed 10 blackfin tuna on one 8 oz. The finish got a little beat up but it continued doing what it was intended to do. Didn't use the other three. Every once in a while I would hit the eyes with my flashlight, they are glow in the dark but the glow doesn't shine very bright or last very long but it didn't seem to make a difference on the number if fish caught. Just let it drop just below the depth where the fish are being marked and jig up, repeat, and the fish will hit it, usually on the drop.
