Answer: Although I have not thrown it, it is supposedly slow sinking and I certainly hope so, almost neutrally suspending. I think that is what the SS stands for.

I bought this ones for sook fishing at the shore/beach it can work also for tarpon. Great product it will walk in the surface and sink slowly, this is slightly different than the low pitch lure . Size is perfect I have some 4 3/4" which I think are a little big, but this size is just perfect.
