Can you put more weight in frt of it to make it run deeper?

What material are these lures made from?

Answer: The best I can tell, the body of the lure is made from plastic. The hooks, of course, are some kind of metal.

Answer: Plastic. Good lures, various sizes. All other questions can be researched at Leland Lures... Stop asking ppl and do your own research AWAY from Amazon.

Answer: Plastic. Works very well in shallow fast water for trout.

Do you tie the line directly to the split ring? Or do you remove the ring? Do you use a snap~swivel or tie direct? Do you use any weight on the line

Answer: I personally dont use a swivel of any sort on this type of lures. I tie directly to the o-ring. And I dont use weight with them either, but that's something for you to decide. It might mess with the action of the lure.

what's is the size of it?

Answer: Its been awhile since i bought this but I believe it was 2.5 inches

What color works best for stocked trout?

Answer: Anything natural.

Does this only work for Steelhead? What other types of fish are magnetic?

Answer: I'm sure they limbs are magnetic, as I have caught quite a few on this lure. It seems the magnet phenomenon is only in smaller fish... Large fish must have an iron deficiency...

T : Deadly color for wild browns!

I caught over 20 wild browns with this Hawk color in clear water within 3 days. Killer bait that is basically a sub-surface lure if you work it like a jerkbait, they hit it on the pause. Says it runs 2-4ft, but since it doesnt cast very far its hard to reach that depth, I used it where it sat 6in-1ft below and the trout couldnt resist it. Buy it!

I have four different trout lures of this type. Good action in the water and in streams where you would be using them fishing for trout they aren't riding the surface from too aggressive a bill under the front of the lure. You'll catch trout with these, I promise ya.

I only gave 4 stars because I never got to use it.(someone broke into my truck and stole my fishing bag) It looked very well made and the colors were perfect. The hooks were good quality also, so overall it was a nice lure. I'm going to buy a couple more now that I have to replace everything.

Tim Coleman : Amazing results but needs larger hooks

Out performs rapalas and all other similar trout cranks. But I recommend changing out the hooks with a beefier set. I lost a good handful of 20+ rainbows and browns cuz they weren't sticking to the tiny hooks it comes with.
