would this jig work well in a freshwater lake with very good striper and bass fishing.

Answer: not sure about freshwater. i used it at a cruise stop in costa maya mex. caught several good fish

Timothy : A quality lure at a fair price

This is one of my favorite baits. Tipped with a Gulp! Swimming Mullet and you can catch Speckled Trout, Striper, and Redfish all day. It is actually my go to bait for Catfish. Yes, you heard right, Catfish. I catch more catfish with this lure that I do with and stink bait or cut bait.

The hooks are sharp and strong. The hairs stay put. I get a dozen or more trips out of each one before they start to look ratty. The paint on the heads will chip if hit hard against rocks, but I do not notice a decrease in strikes due to this.

They are a little expensive, but all quality tackle is.

Price is decent. Great for jiging flounders, strippers and sight fishing cobia. I use 1.5 to 2 ounce in Chesapeake Bay, depending on the current. Adjust weight until you can jig them vertically for desired effects.
