would this jig work well in a freshwater lake with very good striper and bass fishing.

Answer: not sure about freshwater. i used it at a cruise stop in costa maya mex. caught several good fish

Excellent like the swimming action of this bucktail , its movements mimic fleeing fish. With a worm attached to the end gives fish the impression bait is an eel.

I live in the tropics, and usually run a pink bucktail jig in my trolling spread. I have to replace them all the time because yellowfin tuna love them, but will straighten out the hooks in short order. They can handle smaller tunas just fine, and they produce a lot of strikes. I'm not sure if you're supposed to troll these things, but they work really well at 6 - 8 knots in the center position, about a hundred feet back. I had a marlin hit one once, and you can probably guess how that went.

Two of the eyes had fallen off in the package. So I can't use them until I buy glue and put them back on. They appear to be double sided taped on which is not sufficient.
