Answer: I would probably say about 1/2 ounce but that's just my opinion. This is also a very small jig so if your looking for bigger profile I would look at the Strike King hack attack jigs

Do the smaller Bitsy Bugs have smaller hooks? For example, does the .0625oz (1/16th oz) have a smaller hook than the .125oz (1/8th oz)?

i LOVE these jigs. Not sure why I like them so much more than the other jigs I've used. Maybe it's just the confidence i have in them and it makes me use them more, but I just seem to catch more fish on these. Oh, and the hooks are very sharp.

And at under 2 bucks apiece, why not? (Act. any size/color @ $1.99, everyday price.)
Got 6 of each, 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 & 1/4 oz.
Decent hooks & silicone skirts, and no paint clogging up the eyes. Nice.
And the keeper worked ok with Z-Man ElaZtech baits, no glue needed.
(I just pull em over the keeper with my pliers, easier for me, and they really do last.)
But the jig heads looked too big, and none of the reviews I read had mentioned jig weight.
So I checked their weight with an Ohaus and my Hornady scales,
(mainly because at first I thought my Ohaus was screwed up) Nope.
Here is how they weighed out.
1/16, (sb .062 oz.), Act. = .172 oz. (Great if you wanted a 3/16 oz. jig)
1/8, (sb .125 oz), Act. = .230 oz. (1/4 oz. -)
3/16, (sb .187 oz), Act. = .280 oz. (1/4 oz. +)
1/4, (sb .250 oz), Act. = .330 oz. (5/16 oz. +)
The weight in each size is very consistent.
And no, I didn’t weigh them in their Package…LOL
Of course, the size that I really wanted to be right is the 1/16 oz.,
which has the most error of all of them. (coming in at almost 3/16 oz.) ouch.
I took the Skirt off and cut the weedguard off on one of the 1/16 jigs
and weighed it again. The bare jig head is .134 oz. (again, sb .062 oz.)

So, if you really need/want a light jig, the smaller weight sizes of these jigs just won’t cut it.
