Answer: Tapered body

Answer: Tapered so you can use the larger Mister Twister tails or I tie some buck tail hair on the collar to jig with if I'm not using minnows

Does this mold allow for both short and long shank hooks?

Answer: No the mold only excepts the 420 or 430 eagle claw hooks both are long shank

can you get 3/4 to 1oz round head

Answer: It has a collar

Do you have a1/16 & 1/8 ounce jig mold that accepts 2 ot hook?

what size jig head is this?

Answer: mine makes 3 of each 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz

Answer: No the mold does not have a collar on it there is a keeper on the jig to hold soft baits

What size hook do you need

Answer: Mustad 32756 90 deg jig hook. Or any 2/0 90 jig hook. I use mustad 2x strong jig hooks.

Answer: 2/0 for the smaller size 3/0 for larger. I use eagle claw #575 or mustad #32756

Answer: I use the Eagle Claw 570 hooks they are just flexible enough to pull jig out of snags and bend back to keep fishing

Slotted for a weed guard?

Answer: No ,the jig mold is not slotted for weed guards.

what hook size fits this mold

Can you insert a hook into the mold when making the lead?

Answer: The hook must be in the mold before you pour the lead into the mold. If you don't use the specified hooks, (like I don't), you may need to bend the head a bit so the lead doesn't fill the eye of the hook. It isn't a big deal to do

Answer: Yes mustad 32756 90 degree jig hooks

Answer: Yes, it uses sizes 2/0 & 3/0 eagle claw 570 or 575. Also can use vmc 9147BZ. I have also used mustad 32755 in a 4/0.
