how long is the handle

Answer: 36inch, handle slides in with push of the button

Whats the widest width of the handle grip? (i need to make sure the handle grip fits in my net holder pipe)

Answer: Mine has a 1 inch diameter

What makes it tangle free,and how big of a fish do you think it would handle,we get some 35 lb salmon here and now we cant use a noose for sturgeon

Answer: The rubberized coating makes it "mostly" tangle free. I do a lot of lure fishing and before I purchased this net invariably the treble hooks would tangle in the cotton mesh of my old net. It usually took me 1/4 to 1/2 hour to get the lure free of the net before I purchased the frabill. I am fishing Smith Mountain Lake and it's not uncommon to land a 15 to 20 lb. striper {sometimes a lot bigger). Trust me, you will otice the difference.

Answer: Me and my wife bought it for our boat and we only used it once but it handled a good size 5 to 6 Lbs trout. There was plenty of room left over. Size would not be your problem but I am not sure it would handle 35 Lbs but it seems like it can.

Answer: what makes it tangle free is the strands of the net are dipped in a rubberized material i had a 35 lb striped bass in mine and it was fine sturgeon cant tell u how it would work on them because it illegal to catch them here but i think it work well

Answer: tangle free due to coated, stiff mesh. Not near deep enough for a big salmon's last gasp lunge for freedom.

Answer: I would say its about 20 to 25 inches deep. I like it as it will handle a 36 inch pike but yet not a huge net that is hard to store away.

Answer: I don't have mine anymore, but can say it was probably over 20" deep, enough to handle most fish. I liked the texture of net material, my lures didn't snag, and being heavily cored i think that it didn't rip slots in the fishs' tails and fins like I've seen with other nets ( I try to release them unharmed). Fine net for boat fishing.

Answer: Plenty deep for southeast redfish, trout and flounder. It's a good 2 feet deep and stretchy. We had good opportunity to test it completely last weekend and it exceeded my expectations. Did not work against the water like some of the rubber nets and does not retain the fish slime like I thought it might. Especially like the extendable handle. Will buy again - if necc.

Does this net have cork or any similar substance in the handle to allow the net to float?

Answer: No, doesn't appear to.

Could this handle a 35" / 17 lb pike? Thanks for any feedback...

Answer: I feel that this net could handle a pike that size.

Answer: I've pulled fat carp on the banks and large striper from the boat with this net. Very strong and sturdy. Telescopic handle is great, too. Easy storage/transport.

Answer: If I had used this net a Northern that large I could tell you for sure, but I would guess there would be no problem for even a Muskie larger than that. Nicest net I've had.
