Answer: Salt water? I don't know --- I used it in fresh water. I'm not near salt water. Depth? Probably 3-5 ft. (Short-billed)

Answer: Hard to say what's it made of. Plastic? Balsa? I'd have to cut into it to find out, I suppose.

Answer: Yes a very good lure for bass and trout if ordering those you should also order Glass Blue minnow, Glass minnow, and both Helsinki Ghost and shad lures. I have had great luck with all of them trolling for trout !

Answer: I suppose it could be used for salt water.

Answer: As I said in my review: I lost mine.

how big is it?

Answer: This is a small bait. No more than 3 inch. Rapala is a well respective fishing brand. It may look small, but is considered effective at fishing big fishes. The hook might bend due to the weight of the fish, but such a nice catch is well worth the cost of this product. There are the bigger version. That will be more for saltwater fishing or for catching big fishes. Go to a sporting good store based on where you lived and see if you can find them. Walmart might have them, but will be the small versions.

The images for this product clearly show lures with 3 treble hooks. I received 2 of the 3 lures that I ordered today, and I am not the first buyer to report that the actual item has only 2 treble hooks. The images used are clearly deceptive, and I feel cheated. You are better off buying these lures in a brick and mortar store, where you can see what you are buying and there can be no “bait and switch” like this.
