Abahjit Sandal : Work but on the thin side

These are great for attracting small panfish but are very thin. I've used these on size 6 hooks and small blugills can rip it off the hook fairly easily. Not terrible as they can definitely attract fish but too small for my taste.

I've used the Berkley Gulp Natural Color 6" Night Crawlers with excellent results. I had tried Red Wiggler Angle Worms in the past with absolutely no luck. I decided to give them one more try in a new fishing location since Amazon did not have the Natural Color 6" Night Crawlers available under Prime but offered these. Big waste of money. After one hour with no luck using this bait I put a float on and watched as fish stopped to look at the bait or touch it and then immediately swim away. I tried every rig and location I could think of with this bait and still no takers. The bait comes in one continuous length and looks like a long piece of red rubber with defects in it. It must be cut to length. After closer observation I saw thin excess material on each side of the bait from the mold. No wonder the fish were not biting on my lines. My fishing buddy used worms he dug up and was catching fish. I was too once I gave up on this product. After catching fish on the same rig with his bait (red worms) it was clear that the problem wasn't me or my rig. It was the bait. Berkley might need to make the bait look, taste, and smell like a worm and not a piece of rubber.

this is a brilliant product that works well on some waters. trout and carp love. will not suit all waters.

P. Diddy Girl : This was not the worms fish wanted

I used this bait for about 7 hours and 4 other fisherman used their bait. Not one bite, did I receive from the bait. Perhaps, fish was not hungry or just maybe the bait was not what fish wanted. Note: All the other 4 fisherman, all got bites with there different baits, mine using this bait, got not 1 bite.

I went fishing a few days ago and I was a little skeptical of this bait. It seems my skepticism was not justified.

I baited a 1/64oz round jig and rigged it under a slip bobber. Within seconds I was pulling in Sunnies. Every cast. While there were a few small ones, I caught quite a few that were 7 1/2 inches.

I cast a little further and managed to land a decent Largemouth Bass.

All in all, an awesome day of fishing!

Tim Hinds : Too small

I have had alot of success with Berkley products in the past. However, I was not impressed with this bait at all. The worms are really small in diameter, and they seem to quickly degrade after a few casts. I bought the Powerbait worms (also by Berkley) a month ago for about the same price and they are much better.
