Questions about Rebel Lures Original Realistic Crawfish Crankbait Fishing Lure
Q:
Do they make the big craw in this color?
Answer: Yes.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Im new to this bait so how would i work it in the water do i reel slowly?
Answer: Best bet we've used, are more than a single way. 1 - You can simply pop it on the surface an inch at a time, then let it go under and come back up. Perfect for large Perch/Blue Gill and Crappie, even some bass. Very slowly crank it for it to attract and catch anything that swims..For larger fish such as Blue Gill/Crappie/Bass, put a tiny clamp on split shot weight on it, let it sink one foot first time, then two, then three and etc. and etc. This allows you to find depth they are hitting at. But for creeks/streams, they are fabulous for Small Mouth Bass of ALL sizes period.
Answer: Do you need to fish it fast enough that it dives below the surface because it will try to float if you don’t but will only go a couple feet. Not made for deep water
Answer: Throw it out, let it sit for a second or two then twitch it. It is a good lure. The crickhopper is awesome as well.
Answer: small even time delayed jerks for bass
Answer: Yes, work it slowly. Preferably, just crawl it across the rocks near the bottom. Good Luck!
Answer: Water-ways & streams vary. Some waters are not moving or moving very slow and some waters & streams are moving fast, faster & very fast as well as the depth of the waters. Every lure has its own nature so it will be a "try & error" method" depending on all of the mentioned variables. You can also raise or lower the rod tip as you real which will help make the lure go deeper or shallow. You can also add a small weight at the front which will make it go deeper as well as change the action.
Q:
How large is the lure and hook?
Answer: The come in different weights n sizes, u pick !
Q:
im pretty new to fishing am i sopposed to put anything on the hooks?
Answer: No, you won't need to add anything to the hooks. The fish go for the crawfish look itself. Welcome to the world of fishing. Have fun.
Answer: Nothing on the hooks.....keep them free of weeds etc. A squirt of crayfish scent wont hurt but it's not a must. Use as light a test line as possible n vary your retrieve speed. The smaller sizes, 1/10th oz, r great for big bluegill, smaller bass n trout. A rebel crickhopper is a super good lure to use for about everything, better than a crayfish ! The rebel hellgramite is excellent too.
Answer: No bait needed
Answer: Nope, with lures you just put the lure on and just let it set or jiggle and slowly reel, no worms or other bait required.
Answer: No. Cast it out and reel it back in. It has great action. You can vary the reel in speed to see what works best.
Answer: Nope. Just throw it out there and reel it back in varying the speed of your retrieval.
Answer: No just tie it on your line cast it out as far as you can a reel it in slowly.
Answer: Nah if you do it might not run true

Answer: Yes it is but it’s the red one
Q:
How deep is this crankbait made to dive?
Answer: The Rebel Mid Craw is made to go 4 to 6 feet deep. I have found the depth depends on how fast you crank the crawdad, the faster the crank the deeper the dive. I have also found that I need to crank the lure slower in shallow water. Joy in your fishing ...

Q:

Product reviews of Rebel Lures Original Realistic Crawfish Crankbait Fishing Lure
Megan : Fish love it
We caught so many small mouth bass and pumpkinseeds with this one lure. It was fun.
MARIANNE : Excellent paint
Looks and swims like a natural bait, now just have to find the right trout that like crawfish
Andrew : This one is has the best record of all other teeny wees!
I've caught more largemouth bass on the Stream colored craw than any other live bait or artificial lure COMBINED. The last one I got was 20.5"... 2.5" short of the state record. These are my go-to lure any time I go out to my lake.
Jem : Great Lure.
Great product. Almost always land one with this little Daddy.
dodo : Best crankbait for rocky lakes
I have caught many bass with this lure, including a huge 5 pound bass. My recommendation is to choose a very rocky shore in lakes where bass prey on Craw fish. Make sure to ricochet it off of rocks and pause for a few seconds because i have noticed that bass are very hesitant at attacking it, but all in all it is a well made and perfect lure for the lake i fish at.
Duy Nguyen : Awesome
Dives really quickly and well. Looks awesome and you can definitely feel the sporadic movement it makes under water. The company also have me 3 of them when I only ordered one. Giving one to a friend and keeping one just in case I lose one.
JMMorton : Nice lure!
This crawfish lure turned around a slow day of fishing. After having no luck with my other go-to lures, I decided to try out this crawfish. I maneuvered it around some rocks and was getting hit after hit. The action of this lure is really nice. The color is nice and the hooks are sharp. For the money, I'm really happy and will be buying more colors soon. Thanks!

Happy : Will catch bass and and white perch.
Works. Sturdy
Techie : Great action and weight for the size, durability is questionable.
I love the action of these little guys, great for targeting small bass or crappie. The weight is great for a lure of this size, which is important to me as casting ultralight lures on my baitcaster setup is a nightmare.
The problem I have had is durability... I had the bill of one break away from the body from an impact with just water. Admittedly I was swinging it down into the water to try and knock off some algae, but I wasn't being all that aggressive. Given that this guy is intended to be bounced off a rocky bottom, the bill snapping on contact with water points to issues with quality control. I've been treating my spare more gently. As in I haven't thrown it since the other broke. Nice and safe in the tackle box.
Davewinds : Fishing
Gift
Bekah Hernandez : This rig works better in early hours
I have had okay luck with this lure. Although I must say that New Mexico bass fishing is a different kind of fishing all on its own. It This lure has proven itself to be one of the most used in my tackle box. This lure is best used in clear water. I find I get the most hits using this with and some scent. I also have this same lure in red and that seems to just drive bass crazy. This lure in particular is hit more in the early morning hours. The thing I like best about this rig is its bright colors that stay bright and haven't faded. I have gone through some very poorly made lures and this one even through so much use has stood that test. The negative? I thought that both the red and the Chartreuse &Brown would be the same size. I was wrong. This one is just slightly smaller. I hope that this helps.
daniel fels : Five Stars
Nice looking lures...I'm just a terrible fisherman.
George Shelley : Excellent product, price & delivery.
Excellent product, price & delivery.
Kbomb : Fish love it!
Mannnnn this is a good one!!
MARIANNE : Excellent paint
Looks and swims like a natural bait, now just have to find the right trout that like crawfish
RG : Though it be but little, it is fierce!
It lives up to the name of Teeny Wee! Even so, the panfish would not get off this thing, nor the bass!
Sargekarter : German Browns/ Brooks/Rainbows Love this lure.
Nailed the trout in the Lakes above Truckee, Ca. The only thing I dislike is when My buddies lose my Lures????.
R. Wynieski : They work.
I use the Teeny Wee Craws for creeks and rivers. They work for more than just bass.
George Shelley : Excellent product, price & delivery.

Dan Smudz : -
Fast shipping. Good product.
Will L. : Killer Lure
This is the secret weapon. Shhh!
Jason Darby : Buy it!!!!! Hit the button!!!!
Great small mouth bass lure
Pat : Broke on 5th cast
Bought this based on a recommendation of a friend. On the 5th cast, it snapped on the bill. The whole lure went out, only the part in the picture came back. I didn't hit it on anything, it doesn't dive deep enough where I fish to break on a rock and I didn't abuse it. It literally just broke on the cast out. I'm bummed by the lack of quality control.
J. R. Schenk : Fish love em!
These are excellent lures! I kayak fish in streams, rivers, and lakes, and these catch fish everywhere! Small mouth bass, trout, sunfish, bluegill, the list goes on. The only downside for these lures is the little gap that simulates the front claws. The hook occasionally gets trapped in the gap. Sometimes recasting fixes it, other times I have to manually work the hook free. On one lure (I bought three different colors patterns of these), I replaced the back tri-hook with a larger single trailing hook and it works a little better in regards to not getting trapped on the lure.
MARIANNE : Excellent paint
Looks and swims like a natural bait, now just have to find the right trout that like crawfish
George Shelley : Excellent product, price & delivery.
Excellent product, price & delivery.
Mike K : Favorite Lure
I've been using the Rebel Craw in all different sizes for a few years now, and it's easily the most productive of any lure I use. I've caught smallmouth, largemouth, crappie and stripers on it. This year I'm going to try deep trolling the larger version for landlocked stripers. You can't go wrong with this one.
Dan : Great lure
These lures are great. It will catch all kinds of fish. Caught a 22 inch rainbow trout with this one.
K : Fat L
Smaller than stated in description
Allan : good purchase
Great lure, good price!
Elizabeth Silver : River Fishing
River smallmouth hit’em hard
Outdoorsman803 : Can't beat a crawdad
Have my personal best largemouth on one of these guys at just over 5lbs.
G : They work
Managed to catch a couple small fish while trolling on my kayak with these. Which is better than nothing.
Allan : good purchase
Great lure, good price!
Mike V : Great except for 1 major flaw
This lure is great for bass. I run it in a creek in PA and it kills small mouth. And I mean absolutely crushes them. At least when it's functioning properly. The problem with these lures, especially the teeny size, is the front treble hook actually swings forward under the belly of the lure and it hooks itself in the opening where the "claws" come together. This affects the action of the lure drastically. And this happens probably 1 out of 4 casts. It's very frustrating to throw the perfect cast only to see the lure flopping around on the surface because the treble is out of position. I guess you could just put some larger trebels on it and it might help or eliminate the issue. Otherwise it's awesome. Everything hits it. Bass, crappie, walleye. I've even caught trout on this.
robert : So small Of a lure I couldn't get my line attached
Was only about 1" long. For $9.00 I would have guessed it was a regular sized Chinese lure. Very mad at myself !!!
Anthony Hartness : Nice lure!
Very well made! No issues with design or hooks. - 5 stars is for the lure, not for the fish is did or didn't catch. It's called fishing not catching
William L. : You may not get what you ordered!
Hey mindful that when you order the "teenie-weenie crawdad for trout you may receive any size they choose to send you. I ordered two, they came from two locations, one was the correct size, the other was obviously for a very, very large fish. (THINK LIKE IN WHALE).
Allan : good purchase
great lure
Donna Bame : Quality is obvious. Great pond fisher
Extremely well designed. It caught a 7” perch on the fist cast into shaded 2’ water. Ate that dude for dinner. Lure already paid for itself
Josh : BEST RIVER/CREEK BAIT ON THE MARKET
Smallmouth can't resist the rebel wee craw, and panfish/sunfish can't resist the smaller size. I currently have about 5 of them just in case. I only use this bait when creek/river fishing and I usually out fish everyone I am with. Ive caught a 19 1/2 inch smallmouth with the rebel wee craw and several 3 pounders. If you love small fishing, then JUST BUY IT!
Albert : this lure doesn't sink!
took this lure in a 3 fishing trips , didn't catch anything , but it's ok , maybe I just wasn't lucky, but one thing I can't understand , this lure doesn't sink ! What kinda Crawfish is that ?? , tried to return and shipping cost is $4.50 , I payed $6.50 for this thing , really disappointed , I'm never gonna buy anything from Green Top Hunt Fish again !
Sargekarter : German Browns/ Brooks/Rainbows Love this lure.
Nailed the trout in the Lakes above Truckee, Ca. The only thing I dislike is when My buddies lose my Lures????.
Jacob : Rebel Craw WORKS! Highly Recommend.
Got mine in the mail yesterday and immediately took it to a local Creek. First cast I got a hit and second cast caught a nice little blue fill. I ended up catching about 8 in total. Love the action on this lure and and the color scheme is definently an eye catcher. Highly recommend. I bought another one already just as a backup. These rebel craws are definitely the way to go when Creek fishing.
RG : Though it be but little, it is fierce!
It lives up to the name of Teeny Wee! Even so, the panfish would not get off this thing, nor the bass!
